Dandelion root, nettle root, burdock root, alfalfa leaf, mullein leaf, and sarsaparilla root have been used by indigenous healers and herbalists to treat anemia and blood-related ailments for centuries. Kakadu plum (gubinge) is also a good source of iron, and contains the highest amount of vitamin C in any known food. When vitamin C is eaten with iron-rich foods, the iron is absorbed better by the body. Kakadu Plum also acts as a natural preservative therefore prolonging the shelf-life of these herbs. By using wholefoods, these herbs also carry other bioavailable nutrients, such as antioxidants, chlorophyll, calcium, magnesium, potassium, manganese, zinc, selenium, and vitamins A, C, D, E, K and some B vitamins. We've only added herbs that have been safely used by pregnant and breastfeeding women for many years. We do not use therapeutic doses to maintain safety and to be easier on the body. Keep out of reach of children. Do not take therapeutic or high doses of any one herb while pregnant or breastfeeding. Please seek professional advice before consuming. Do not consume if taking any medications, or if you suffer from a hormone-related or autoimmune illness. No one food is safe for everyone, if a reaction occurs discontinue use immediately. Herbs work best alongside a healthy diet.
Take 4 capsules (1/2 tsp or 2g) in the morning, and 4 capsules in the evening with food, or as directed. If treating a deficiency, take 1 heaped tsp in the morning, and 1 heaped tsp in the evening with food until directed. Please contact us for more information.
Pregnant and breastfeeding women: take 2 capsules (1/4 tsp) in the morning and 2 capsules (1/4 tsp) in the evening with food, directly before or after feeding baby. Gauge your body's response before taking the evening capsule. If your body does not react, continue use as normal, increasing to 6 - 8 capsules (1 tsp) daily. The herbs nutritional effects will cross over to baby if breastfeeding. If a reaction occurs to you or baby, discontinue use immediately.
Children 1 - 3 years: separate the capsule and give 1/2 capsule (250mg/ 1/8 tsp) with food/smoothie daily, or as directed. Increase to 1 capsule (1/4 tsp) daily after 3 years, or as directed.
